Assertiveness and Effective Communication Training
The Carpathian Foundation organized, for its staff and partner organizations, a two-day training of assertiveness and effective communication. The training took place on 24 and 25 August in Košická Belá.
Purpose of the training was to provide the participants with guidance to improve and develop their communication skills, effective communication, to train them to clearly express themselves without facing manipulation, passive or aggressive communication approaches. The training took a form of sharpening a variety of practical skills.
The trainer, Doc. Ing. Helena Čierna, PhD., is an experienced expert in the field of management skills, team work, managerial ethics and etiquette. She has got an ample hands-on experience as well as theoretical background.
Since in this world good communication and assertiveness are very important for the Foundation and its partners, the training was most useful. The Foundation plans to build such skills of its staff further via additional internal education and training. |
